Now, let’s dive into our second issue, brought to you by our team member James Welch.
Hi all! James here again.
Last week, I walked you through a bit of my investing history and how it led to my using Signal Trader Pro.
This week, I'm going through how I've been using the platform recently during a very chaotic market.
Like many of you, I've been flabbergasted by the recent ups and downs. I'd be totally cool with never hearing the word tariff again.
I mean, seriously, enough with the seven-day-per-week tariff updates. Pick a lane and stick with it. You are freaking everybody out, dude!
Ok. I’m done venting now.
Anyhow, in my opinion, the recent market turmoil has exemplified how powerful the Signal Trader Pro system is.
If you’ve been a member of the platform’s beta test for a while, you may recall that getting 50 signals per day was not the norm. During December ‘24 for example, we could go a few days without a new “Bullseye” signal”.
Back then, I’d dive into each new signal with gusto and conduct a fair amount of research myself. Then, I’d jump into the STP WhatsApp chat and get feedback from my fellow investors.
I enjoyed that period and caught some great signals for companies I never would have known about, like Guidewire Software Inc (GWRE). I followed STP's entry and exit signals on that stock and exited that trade up over 17% in just over 30 days. Pretty good, eh?
Maybe I’ll walk through that process next week.
That said, as you’ve probably experienced, over the past few weeks, STP was serving up signals faster than free beers at a frat party.
It was amazing to get each daily email and see the enormous list of high-quality companies, from "Magnificent Seven" stalwarts to global banks, major airlines, giant retailers, and more. The whole stock market was suddenly on sale.
In retrospect, we now know that’s exactly what happened. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell 10.1% and nearly 14% from their recent February 19th highs through March 14th .
Perhaps it was the speed of the selloff that rattled me. Or maybe it was the scope of it. After all, when everything at your favorite store is on sale simultaneously, how the hell do you decide what to buy?
Was I the only one that felt like this?
Well, for me, STP answered that dilemma. I've simply been focusing on Bullseye signals for companies that I know.
People often ask, what the heck are “STP BULLSEYE” signals, and why do we talk about them so much?
Bullseye this, bullseye that, 12-15. Bullseye, bullseye, bullseye….
Yeah, we get it. It seems repetitive. But remember, there's a very real method behind the platform.
To quote from the top of STP's website, "Signal Trader Pro constantly scans the market for 15 key BULLSEYE signals, so you don't have to. Our algorithm is built on over 30 years of expert trading experience and has been proven to work in bull, bear, and even choppy market conditions.”
Quite simply, while the market was tanking and humans were blinded by emotion and the scale of it all, STP’s algorithm was doing the hard work for us.
STP was literally designed to work in “bull, bear, and even choppy market conditions.”
Each weekday morning during the correction, without fail, Signal Trader Pro presented a neatly organized list of the best new investment opportunities among hundreds of rapidly declining stocks.
And the best part? STP provides a simple scoring system ranking the best opportunities from 12-15 points. These are the “Bullseye Signals”.
The best part about the “Bullseye Signals” is that only the strongest companies and opportunities rise to the top. The algorithm weeds out stocks that aren’t worth your time and hard-earned investment capital.
Sure, there are scores below these, and some are great companies and opportunities. But for me, I’ve been sticking with the Bullseyes. And frankly, it’s been working.
While others seemed to be fleeing the markets, I carefully reviewed each day's email, noted a few Bullseye signals in my personal Watchlist (I use Google Finance), and bided my time.
On down days, when the moment was right, I scooped up some awesome stocks at bargain basement prices.
Quite frankly, STP’s signals gave me the balls to buy when everything in my head was screaming to “sell it all” and hide my money under my mattress.
Now, I'm not Mister Money bags. If you read my piece last week, you'll know that, as a father of two, I take a more conservative investing approach these days.
So, did I buy everything I wanted during the stock sale? Hell no! See above, where I mention the two kids.
However, I did make a few solid trades that are up decently now that the market has started to recover a bit.
And honestly, I don’t know if I would have hit the buy button without STP.
So, what did you do? Did you act, or did you hold steady?
I can't blame you if you did nothing. I'm still anxious about this market. That's why I'm still sitting on a bunch of cash. And no, it's not under my mattress. It's sitting liquid in my Schwab account and ready to deploy.
As you may have noticed, there were no new entry signals today.
Does this mean the market’s bottomed out? I have no idea, and neither does anyone else!
What I do know is that there are 119 open Bullseye Signals on STP as I write this. I have money to invest. I'm going to use those signals to make some money….
But again, I’m just one guy in an ocean of investors. Now that you’ve heard how I’ve been using Signal Trader Pro during the correction, we’d love to hear how you use it.
If you’d like to tell your story, please email us at contact@signaltraderpro.ai or hit us up in the WhatsApp! group.
Yours truly,
James
